Fine Dining Chefs Academy is a home-grown passion which started in 2013 offering catering services mainly for events. It then diversified into an academy in 2019 answering the call to excellency in food. Today, Fine Dining Chefs Academy is a well-established events and culinary school which offers both culinary training and culinary services.

The school

We have both professional and hobby courses namely the City & Guilds Culinary Arts Training and Patisserie for both certificate and diploma level, our own in-house certificate running for three months and Higher Education Examination Council (HEXCO) certificate. The school is frequently contracted for high profile and VIP catering events and menu consulting. To remain relevant, we are constantly updating the knowledge of our staff and students with current ongoings in the food industry as we are part of powerful organisations in the industry namely the Zimbabwe Chefs Association (ZCA), Hospitality Association of Zimbabwe (HAZ), Marketers Association of Zimbabwe (MAZ), and Megafest Women's Forum.

Event Catering: This is the core service, where the catering company provides food and beverage services for various types of events, including weddings, corporate functions, parties, conferences, and more. Menu Planning: Caterers work closely with clients to create customised menus that suit the theme, dietary preferences, and budget of the event. This includes selecting appetisers, main courses, desserts, and beverages. Food Preparation: Caterers handle all aspects of food preparation, from sourcing ingredients to cooking and presenting dishes. They ensure that the food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and taste.

FDCA centers around education and training for future chefs, emphasizing both quality and affordability. To set a standard of excellence in the culinary world within Southern Africa, with a commitment to delivering exceptional culinary experiences that leave a lasting impression.
